Beyond the pale! Kendall Jenner taps into her edgy side with bleached brows for an eye-catching catwalk during Givenchy show at NYFW

Kendall Jenner put her 'model-of-the-moment' reputation to work at Givenchy's debut New York Fashion Week show on Friday.

The 19-year-old showed she's got the edge as she maintained a powerful catwalk at the fashion house's runway show, located on Pier 26 along the Hudson River.

Kendall's expression remained stoic and intense beneath drastically lightened eyebrows during the runway show, which paid homage to the 14th anniversary of September 11.

Ditch the skinnies and go large this season in wide leg trousers

It wouldn't be New York Fashion Week without a few catwalk appearances from Kendall Jenner.

And the supermodel made her SS16 debut last night in the Givenchy show walking alongside other supers like Joan Smalls, Candice Swanepoel and Liu Wen. She looked stunning in this black and white ensemble and it's a look we don't need to wait for next season to recreate.

Wide leg trousers are a major trend for AW15 so there are plenty of options on the virtual high street that will see you all the way through until next summer. Start your search with our edit below.

Splash some cash on French Connection or keep things cheap as chips with Weekday at Asos, Forever21 and Topshop. Wear with heels to ensure there are no soggy hems in this unpredictable weather and tuck in a silk blouse or a simple cotton tee to take the look from night to day.

Donning a lacey white tank top that nipped around waistline, Kendall's trousers also had two black satin ribbons that trailed along the floor.

The reality star's bridal-like top was complete with a flowing lace train that fell to her knees, adding a ladylike touch to the monochromatic look.

Adding to the intense image was her hairdo, which saw her brunette locks severely slicked back behind her shoulders into a middle part.

Kendall's arms were shoved inside her pocket as she prowled on the catwalk.

With its runway show falling on September 11th, the fashion house remembered the tragic date with its show.

'It's a very delicate day for America, and so the show is going to be a celebration of family and love,' Givenchy's creative director Riccardo Tisci said to Women's Wear Daily

Begun in 1952, designer Hubert de Givenchy had a famously warm and decades-long professional relationship with actress Audrey Hepburn.

The designer was behind Audrey's iconic form-fitting black dress from her film, Breakfast At Tiffany's.

Decades later, the fashion house appointed Riccardo as its creative director in 2005, who described his fashion sense to the New York Times in 2007.

'My way of showing is melancholic. People call me Gothic designer - I don't think I am. I love romanticism and sensuality, maybe because I come from a family with eight sisters,' he said.
