Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ (but enough about Fergie…): 50 Cent joins the Duchess of York at 9/11 charity fundraiser

  • Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie also arrived in Manhattan for the event
  • Celebrities made charity phone calls for the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund
  • Fund has distributed more than £180m to victims of terrorism and disaster
  • Others included Margot Robbie, Pamela Anderson and Whoopi Goldberg

British royals joined the American elite in New York for the 14th anniversary of the World Trade Center attack, to fundraise for the ongoing relief effort.

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, joined by Duchess of York Sarah Fergusson, made their way to Manhattan to team up with celebrity royalty for the BGC Charity Day.

As well as raising money for the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund - which has distributed over $280m (£181m) to victims of terrorism, emergencies and natural disasters - the day drew a number of unlikely groupings.

In one incongruous photo-op, the three star-struck royals posed with American rapper 50 Cent, who had donned a shirt and tie for the occasion.

Elsewhere in the celebrity line-up, blonde bombshells Pamela Anderson and Margot Robbie made their fair share of phone calls amid photo shoots.

Now animal rights activist Anderson, 48, flashed a hint of her lacy bra beneath a silk blouse, which she paired with a lavender pencil skirt.

Australian actress Robbie, 25, dressed more conservatively in a matronly white blouse, black midi-skirt, and matching pumps to make calls for UNICEF.
