Work it, girl! NFL player Devon Still's five-year-old daughter Leah struts her stuff on the runway at New York Fashion Week – just five months after beating cancer

  • The five-year-old strutted down the runway at the Kids Rock! fashion event
  • Leah, who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in 2014 and given a 50-50 chance to live, is now cancer-free
  • Her dad shared a video of her sassy catwalk on Instagram, saying: 'She was definitely feeling herself with that spin move'

She has successfully beaten her cancer, and now Leah Still, the five-year-old daughter NFL player Devon Still, is focusing her energies on conquering the catwalks at New York Fashion Week.

The little girl, who is currently in remission from pediatric cancer, paraded her way down the catwalk at NYFW's Kids Rock! event on Thursday - and even did a sassy twirl during her walk.

'She was definitely feeling herself with that spin move,' Leah's father Devon wrote on Instagram, sharing a video of his beloved daughter modelling with his nearly 600,000 followers.

The adorable clip, which sees Leah rocking a Levi's button-down and distressed jeans with smiley face patches, has amassed almost 60,000 likes since it was posted on Thursday, shortly after the event.

'So cute. Glad she is cancer free!' commented one user, while others praised the child's beauty and strength.

Leah, who was diagnosed with Stage IV neuroblastoma in 2014 and given a 50-50 chance to live, fought courageously against the illness and has been cancer-free since this July, after doctors revealed in March that the disease was in remission.

She was all smiles as she commanded the runway at the event, and was also caught beaming in a backstage photo her dad shared along with former NFL pro Steve Weatherford and his baby girl.

Appearing on the Today Show before the fashion event, Devon said Leah was 'doing a lot better'.

She and her father posed for a cute photo with hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, which he shared on Instagram as well.

'Visited Leah's best friend @hodakotb. Now to get ready for Leah to walk in the fashion show tonight,' the athlete wrote, adding that Leah wanted to do these things before she had to go the hospital the following day.

Of course, this isn't Leah's first appearance at New York Fashion Week.

Last year, she rocked the runway at the Levi's Kids show, strutting down the runway with her hand on her hip to Taylor Swift's Shake it Off.

Leah's father's former football team, the Cincinnati Bengals, participated in a fundraiser last year that raised $1.3 million for the Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

Devon recently revealed that he was cut from the team, but said he harbored no feelings of bitterness towards the Bengals.

'I have nothing but love for the Bengals organization and the city of Cincinnati,' Devon, who is now a free agent, wrote on Instagram last week.

He went on to reference Leah's battle with cancer by adding: 'Both helped me through one of the darkest times of my life and I am forever grateful.'

Per the league's rules, the NFL will continue to provide health insurance for Devon's family for the next five years, even if he isn't signed by another team.
