Their daughters boast just a year's difference in age. 

And sisters Tamara and Petra Ecclestone made sure to take their little girls for a play date as they pushed them around in pink cars whilst out in West Hollywood on Thursday. 

Racing their daughters through a toy store whilst out shopping at Farmers Market, the heiresses showed off their lean legs in tiny shorts.

Tamara, 31, showcased her bronzed figure in a tight black vest top and denim cut-offs as she pushed Sophia, one, around in her adorable ride. 

When the novelty of the car wore off, the daughter of Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone was seen lifting her daughter into her arms, her beaming smile still firmly on her face. 

Wheeling along her daughter Lavinia, two, Petra - who now goes by the last name Stunt, following her marriage to billionaire husband James in 2011 - opted for a monochromatic style in a black and white printed blouse and dark denim shorts.

Both sisters looked to go make-up free for the outing, shielding their eyes from the Californian sunshine beneath aviator sunglasses. 

The 26-year-old tied her blonde locks into a messy ponytail, while her older sister wore her brunette tresses in glamorous waves.

Their little girls looked to be very much enjoying their mother-daughter day out as they clung to their favourite dollies whilst sitting in their bright pink wheel-along cars.

It seems young Lavinia has already developed a taste for the finer things in life as she sat a pink iced-cold beverage in the cup holder of her miniature vehicle.

Petra also has two twin sons named James and Andrew, who she welcomed in April this year. 

The sisters have been spending some quality time in Los Angeles, where Tamara has been staying for the past six weeks. 

On Thursday she posted an sweet snap, which she directed at her sibling, that read: 'Best friends make the good times better and the hard times easier.'
