All her friends are doing it.

After her pal Kendall was seen on the streets of New York in oversize spectacles, Gigi Hadid sported a pair of her own on Friday.

The 20-year-old looked to be taking a break from Fashion Week as she ran errands in her large glasses.

Strutting around the city, Gigi displayed her long legs in a pair of distressed skinny jeans and high heels.

Completing her smart look was broad shouldered blazer as she pulled her blonde locks back into a neat bun.

Walking with the coat wrapped over her shoulders, the model strolled along the sidewalk while keeping one eye on her phone.

Her pal Kendall was seen on Thursday alongside former rumoured fling Lewis Hamilton, as she worked a seriously cute, geek chic look - including her own set of spectacles.

Meanwhile, Gigi is gearing up for New York Fashion Week, where she is likely to be hot property yet again. Last year she walked for Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors, Jeremy Scott and Anna Sui. 

Things are also looking up for the star when it comes to her love life. Gigi and Joe Jonas, 26, began dating several months ago following her split from Cody Simpson.

Her famous mother, Yolanda Foster, seems to have given the romance her seal of approval and has been spotted lunching with the couple. 

And Joe's family are rather pleased too.  

'I like them together,' his brother Nick Jonas told E! News in July. 'It's a good thing.'
