She has earned herself a reputation as the Queen of pregnancy fashion.

So it goes without saying that Kim Kardashian would be in attendance for New York Fashion Week, heading to a party hosted by Rihanna at the city's Edition Hotel.

The 34-year-old stepped out on Thursday night, yet again pushing the boundaries with her choice of outfit designed by Givenchy and none other than her rapper husband, Kanye West.

They sure beat support hose: Kim dealt with any signs of swelling with her novel stocking shoes

Dressed in an all-over golden ensemble, the pregnant reality star highlighted her burgeoning bump with a layered frilled skirt which had a split to the thigh.

The high waisted number started just under her bust, and she wore a matching jacket and a vest top in the same shade.

But it was the over-the-knee toeless sock boots that really drew the eye.

Made from the same golden material as the rest of the outfit, they ended mid-thigh.

Like many a mom-to-be, Kim has suffered from swollen feet during both of her pregnancies.

And her take on the booties was certainly more chic that your regular support hose.

Kim was joined by her husband Kanye West as they went for dinner together.

There were also dozens of photographers on hand to capture the couple - and Kim certainly didn't disappoint with her eye-catching choice of outfit.

Unlike his wife, Kanye was rather more low key in his regular outfit of jeans and a white shirt.

Kim has credited Kanye with improving her style, and previously said he encourages her to ‘dress sexier’.

But she wasn’t initially so thrilled about her now-husband giving her a wardrobe makeover.

While appearing on Live! With Kelly And Michael in May, the social media star recalled bursting into tears when Kanye decided to throw out a bunch of her clothes and shoes.

‘When we first started dating, he went through my closet, he put everything he thought wasn't cool enough in a pile,’ Kim revealed.

The rapper gave the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star an ‘entire room filled with new clothes,’ which she described as all ‘really cool designer stuff’.

Kim added: ‘It really helped me fall in love with fashion. I eventually did get rid of all that stuff, but at the time I couldn't see it.’

‘He was right, it was a little too revealing,’ the mother-of-one said of her original outfit choice. ‘I really do trust his opinion.’
