Jennifer Aniston works up a sweat in tight exercise gear as she films a jogging scene on set of Mother's Day

Jennifer Aniston is certainly invested in her fitness - and so is her character in upcoming comedy Mother's Day.

The 46-year-old was spotted yet again on the Atlanta set of the film working up a sweat in a tank top and pedal pusher tights on Friday.

The newlywed was seen jogging and running stairs in the 83 degree F heat as she gamely flashed a smile.

Jennifer rocked out to some tunes as she clutched a smartphone in one hand with some earbuds plugged in.

With her hair pulled back into a high ponytail, the Friends alum was later seen rehydrating with a bottle of water.

Also in her hand was what looked to be her lines for the day, as she carried script pages.

Fellow fitness buff Kate Hudson was on set that day as well.

However, she was not running around in tight exercise gear. Instead the blonde actress struck a more elegant look in white denim and a stripy button down top.

Although, Kate was also plugged into some earbuds as she appeared to be chatting with a friend for a scene.

The new comedy is about the intersecting lives of mothers in the run up to the holiday.

It features a starry cast that also includes Julia Roberts, Jason Sudeikis, Timothy Olyphant and Britt Robertson.

Directed by octogenarian Garry Marshall, it also stars TV staple Aasif Mandvi of The Daily Show and HBO's The Brink.

Jennifer has been hard at work on Mother's Day since returning from her honeymoon in Bora Bora in late August.

The Friends' star and her actor-screenwriter beau Justin Theroux pulled off the surprise of the year last month when they tied the knot in a secret wedding.

The couple pretended they were throwing a surprise party for the 44-year old Leftovers star on August 5 in order to keep their nuptials under wraps - even from family and friends.

Justin's proposal in August 2012 came just over a year after they started dating in May 2011.

Although they had met before, romance blossomed while they filmed R-rated comedy Wanderlust, released in 2012.

Her new comedy is due out April 29 in the run-up to the actual Mother's Day on May 8, 2016.
