And Brooklyn certainly gave his superstar father David a run for his money in the posing stakes as he posted a playing Instagram on Saturday.

One star who he seemed particular keen on was Selena Gomez, who he put on quite the friendly display with as they attended Polo Ralph Lauren's New York Fashion Week showcase at the McKittrick Hotel.

The pair appeared to share a strong bond as they smiled sweetly with Brooklyn wrapping his arm around her and Selena, 23, resting her head on his shoulder.

The Good For You singer undoubtedly got the teenager's umpteenth NYFW off to a great start as he's previously made it clear that he is an admirer of hers.

In February, he liked an grab of her topless V magazine cover on her Instagram account, prompting rumours of a crush.

Selena - who previously dated Justin Bieber - cut an effortlessly glam figure in a form-fitting black leather playsuit which revealed her enviable pins in all their slim glory.
