Watch out for Bieber! Justin plays daredevil as he takes his skateboard to the street ahead of charity telecast in Santa Monica

The Boyfriend hit maker may be known as a singer first, but he may be a daredevil now too!

Justin Bieber, 21, arrived at the venue for the Think It Up charity event on Friday and apparently wanted to get some fresh air via skateboard.

Earlier in the week the singer had left fans reeling when he shunned several young girls who had been waiting for an autograph, causing at least one of them to cry.

This time, he went out of his way to hug and take some photos with fans who were already waiting at the venue.

Then, he surprised everyone by running over to his car to retrieve his skateboard, before hopping on and taking off for a spin around the Santa Monica airport in Los Angeles.

The super star was seen performing several tricks while a friend filmed him, and then things got a little crazier.

On the way back to get ready for the show, the star started weaving in and out of moving traffic, before reporting backstage to prepare for the performance.

The Biebs kept his outfit for the outing skater-chic, opting for a long black tank top that fell all the way to his thighs, and showcased his impressive tiger-motif tattoo sleeve.

Some skinny black pants, a backward mesh ball cap and classic black slip-ons with white accents on the soles completed the look.

He could also be seen toting a black iPhone around as he interacted with fans.

Interestingly, while JB opted for a costume change for the telethon performance, he decided to keep the mesh cap on, which hid much of his newly platinum blonde locks.

His on stage costume turned out to be essentially the white inverse of his skating garb, though he did add a white graphic hoodie with one sleeve pushed up into the mix as well.

The Think It Up charity event, which was held at a hanger at the Santa Monica airport, was held to raise funds for student projects and general education throughout America.
