She fell over on the catwalk at New York Fashion Week on Friday.

But Victoria Secret model Candice Swanepoel seemed to be well over her embarrassing mishap as she headed out with friends on Saturday night.

The 26-year-old Angel beamed from ear-to-ear as she posed for photos at the swanky Rose Bar at Gramercy Park Hotel in the Big Apple.

Back on form: Victoria Secret model Candice Swanepoel seemed to be over her embarrassing New York Fashion Week fall as she headed out with friends on Saturday night

Candice was back to looking her usual elegant self in a gorgeous cream dress with angel sleeves.

She teamed the beautiful frock, which cinched in at the wait and featured an embroidered sheer overlay, with a dusty pink clutch bag which she held on tightly to as she caught up with Brazilian model Lais Ribeiro.

She wore her silky blonde tresses in a straight style and flashed a huge smile as they playfully messed around in front of the camera.

Candice was walking for Givenchy SS16 when she missed her footing and fell on her hands in front of the live crowd.

Like a true professional, she regained her composure and completed the show - if not modelling a cuts on her knees to add to the gothic ensemble.

The blonde was almost unrecognisable with bleached blonde eyebrows - a fact that she'll no doubt be grateful for in the future.

She was walking in fringed booties when she lost her footing and seemingly tripped on the laces, falling hands first onto the long catwalk.

Candice was gracefully picked up by an audience member and laughed off the blunder after brushing herself down.

Bruised ego: Speaking after the show, the blonde said that she was suffering from a bruised ego

Unlucky: She looked pained as she felt the ground swallow her up with embarrassment

No help needed: The blonde was helped up by an audience member but seemed to brush off the offer

After the show, the blonde complained of a bruised ego as she took to Instagram with a picture of her real injuries.

She said: 'Thank you to who ever picked me up off the runway tonight. left with little scratches but mostly a bruised ego #ohwell'

An audience member had leapt to her aid and given her hand before she gratefully brushed off the offer and made her own way back up to standing.

With a polite smile and a wave, when helped up the blonde proved that she could put on a brave face still.

She had been modelling and exquisite sheer lace dress, which flashed her underwear to the crowds - though it wouldn't be her only embarrassment that night.

The gothic gown, from Givenchy's SS16 line, was paired with black and red strappy heels that featured an evidently dangerous open-laced detail.

Candice hadn't been the only model to fall on the night, because a brunette companion similarly tripped on the open shoe laces.

Rather unfortunately, her tumble took place as she walked down a set of steps constructed for the show.

And again, audience members reached out to help the distressed catwalk star as she used her hands to pull herself back up.

Body-confident Nicki Minaj was leading the glamour at the show on Friday night, proudly parading her curves in bold leopard print.

The 32-year-old rapper found a wild way to do so, sporting a revealing leopard-print ensemble as she attended the Givenchy fashion show during Spring 2016 New York Fashion Week.

The Truffle Butter hitmaker put her assets on display in a plunging beige, cream, and black mermaid-style midi dress.

She layered the form-fitted frock with a loose wide-sleeved bomber that matched her ruffled hemline.

Nicki unzipped the jacket in back, making sure her round romp was caught on camera.

Oh poor Candice Swanepoel. This is every model's nightmare but the Victoria's Secret Angel can be comforted by the knowledge that it happens to the best of them. And that includes runway legends like Naomi Campbell.

So let's focus on the fashion and not Candice's misstep. It was a sultry affair at Givenchy's SS16 show in New York last night with black and white the only colors to make an appearance on the catwalk.

Riccardo Tisci envisions a season of slinky lace, frills, silk and more than a hint of skin on show. Candice's dress is a prime example of this aesthetic and we love the asymmetric hem and panels of lace and ruffles.

Rising model Kendall Jenner was featured in the show, seen strutting down the runway to model Givenchy's latest fashions.

This is her fourth appearance for Tisci since modelling during the Fall/Winter 2014 season. Joan Smalls was also spotted on the cat walk.

Nicki had a front row view of the new collection - which included monochrome separates, menswear-inspired garbs, and glamorous gowns - while seated in between Debbie Harry and June Ambrose.
