He has been single for a short four months.

And it seems Cody Simpson may have finally moved on from ex-girlfriend and model Gigi Hadid.

On Friday night the 18-year-old singer sent a Snapchat video to his thousands of fans of him cuddling up to a mystery blonde who shares numerous facial features to his former flame.

The unknown female sat comfortably on the Australia's lap as they both looked into the phone's camera as they burst into laughter.

She displayed a large pearly white smile which was near-identical to Gigi's along with a round face and slender figure.

While the female tossed around on Cody, he sat back and filmed the series of events roll out while covering her beach blonde hair with a black cap.

Since he and Gigi ended their relationship in May Cody has been pictured numerous times leaving clubbing scenes with mystery women.

But while the Queenslander takes advantage of his now-single life, the Guess model has settled down with former Jonas Brothers, Joe.

Neither Gigi nor Joe have confirmed their relationship but the couple are regularly spotted getting cosy with each other in public on a daily basis.

In May a spokesperson for the Victoria Secrets beauty released a statement in regards to her split from Cody reading: 'Cody and Gigi want each other to be in a place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career.'

'They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future,' it continued.

The picture-perfect couple began dating in May 2013 before separating after a year due to their busy work schedules.

But the lovebirds rekindled their relationship six months later in November 2014.
