But Dakota Johnson wore a daring dress that would please her onscreen lover Christian Grey as she attended a party on Saturday night.

The 25-year-old confidently displayed her toned figure in a semi see-through dress at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association & InStyle's annual celebration of the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday.

With New York Fashion Week and the Toronto film festival going on, celebrities are giving us one big fashion show. There have been so many custom-made pieces that we're relieved some luminaries cherry pick from the runway... albeit with a minor tweak here and there.

We're talking about Dakota Johnson's Christopher Kane dress that hails from the designer's fall/winter lineup and it's giving new meaning to the LBD. It's the same sheer dress with diagonal slashes in just the right places. But Dokata's velvet is smooth, not textured like the runway frock. We prefer hers.

While Hollywood blood runs through her veins - her grandmother is also Hitchcock's muse Tippi Hedren - she admits she still struggles during auditions.

'Sometimes I panic to the point where I don't know what I'm thinking or doing. I have a full anxiety attack,' she recently told AnOther magazine.

'I have them all the time anyway, but with auditioning it's bad. I'm so terrified of it. I have crippling self- doubt! But the things I'm the most afraid of, I run towards.'
