Delta State University professor dead after 'active shooter' reports spark lockdown

A Delta State University geography instructor is on the run after shooting dead his girlfriend and then a colleague on Monday morning, police believe. Shannon Lamb, 45, (right) allegedly gunned down church outreach minister Amy Prentiss, 41, (left) at their home in Gautier, Mississippi, at around 6am local time on Monday, according to a police statement. He then allegedly drove 300 miles to his place of work, called 911 to alert them to Prentiss' death, then opened fire on the campus at 10.45am local time, killing assistant history professor Ethan Schmidt, 45 (center) - a married father of three. Lamb is believed to be at large, armed and dangerous as the murder weapon has not been recovered. He is allegedly driving a Dodge Avenger registered to Prentiss.

The three-day event in Cali, Colombia attracts 250 tattooists from all over the world as well as thousands of visitors who are desperate to get inked by the best. Implants, forked tongues, ear tunnels and even removing chunks from their ears, were all on display over the weekend as enthusiasts competed for the most diabolical look. Tattoo artist Emilio Gonzalez, from Venezuela, was just one of many showing off his terrifying body modifications. He has complemented his facial tattoos with horn-like piercings in his forehead, a reptilian-style split tongue and tunnels in his ears and lower lip.
