Jane Fonda wore a gold dress to the premiere of her new film Youth at the Toronto Film Festival on Saturday.

The actress, 77, defied her age as she stunned in a long-sleeved, floor-length gold gown with a high neckline that showed off her slim figure.

The Grace and Frankie star added a matching gold handbag and pointed heels as she posed at The Elgin Theatre screening.

She added a dramatic diamond necklace and matching drop earrings for a bit of extra sparkle.

The two-time Oscar winner played up her eyes with dark mascara and pink lipstick.

Fonda plays an over-the-top movie star in the film, which also stars Michael Caine, Harvey Keitel and Rachel Weisz.

Weisz, 45, also attended the Toronto screening, picking a unique floral dress that appeared to be inspired by an enchanted garden.

The British actress, who wed James Bond star Daniel Craig in 2001, looked radiant in the distinctive gown, which featured birds embroidered across a daring sheer neckline.

Her brunette hair was styled in elegant up-do, and she played up her lips with a deep pink shade.

The diaphanous long-sleeved gown was embellished with a dazzling array of flowers and even a few wheat stalks.

The actress wore a flesh-colored camisole underneath the see-through gown.

She accessorized with simple diamond stud earrings and a pretty glittery clutch.

Actor Paul Dano, who also stars in the film attended the premiere with his Ruby Sparks costar and girlfriend Zoe Kazan.

Dano looked sharp in a grey suit and blue tie, while his screenwriter-actress partner sparkled in a shimmery minidress.

Also at the Toronto screening was Romanian actress and model Mădălina Diana Ghenea, who also has a role in the film.

Youth was directed by Italian filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino, who picked up his own Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film with The Great Beauty in 2014.

It follows two older friends on holiday in the Alps, a film director and a conductor, who are struggling with their final creative projects and legacies.
