She was left devastated when her last boyfriend cheated on her in July.

But Hollyoaks star Stephanie Waring, 36, appeared to be on fine form as she enjoyed a night out with 27-year-old Max George of The Wanted fame.

The good-looking pair - who were out with a large group of pals on the night - were pictured leaving Neighbourhood bar in Manchester before continuing their night elsewhere.

Stephanie made a real effort for the occasion and ensured her toned physique was on full display for her glam night out.

The actress, who is mum to daughters Lexi, five, and Mia,10, showcased her taut tum in a grey knit crop top which she paired with a matching mini skirt.

She rounded off her evening look with black leather open toe mules while Max cut a more casual figure in a white tee and skinny whitewashed jeans.

However, Max's representative denied any sort of romantic hook-up between the attractive twosome.

'Max was out catching up with his friends in manchester on Saturday evening. There is no connection between him and Stephanie they both just happened to be in the same bar at the same time,' Ed Hopkins, Max's publicise, told MailOnline.

A spokesperson for Stephanie declined to comment when approached by MailOnline.

Their night on the town comes just a few weeks after she split from cheating 25-year-old Rick Shore.

Speaking to MailOnline shortly after the break-up, a source claimed that Rick had been simultaneously dating a second woman and that Steph was distraught that she ever trusted him.

The source also said that the soap star's career-driven lifestyle was incompatible with Rick's.

'Steph needs someone with a career, not someone who lives at home with his parents,' the insider revealed.

Before Rick, Stephanie spent some time in Marbella with Apprentice star and Celebrity Big Brother housemate James Hill.

She also dated businessman Riad Erraji - ex-husband of Natasha Hamilton - briefly before splitting in March.

Last year, she was famously upset when her ex-partner Dan Hooper started dating fellow soap star Kym Marsh just a couple of months after they split.

Meanwhile, Max has been keeping a low profile just lately having moved to the US last year to be with his American girlfriend Carrie Baker.

The singer was previously engaged to Michelle Keegan before they split in mid-2012 and was linked to the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Lucy Mecklenburgh before he relocated to the States.
