Sharon Stone may be approaching 60, but you wouldn't have known it on Friday.

Slipping into a youthful white dress with racy cutaway panels, the 57-year-old graced the stage at the Palazzo Clerici in Milan with a confident air.

She looked exquisite, laughing and smiling as she was presented with the Peace Building Award in front of admirers.

Sharon cut a slender figure in the white garment that hugged tightly to her frame and showed some skin with contrasting black panels.

With her skin looking immaculate and some pearl beads around her neck, Sharon swept her tresses into a sophisticated style, away from her face.

She completed a stylish look with dusty pink suede heels on her feet to ensure that after a busy day of being highly in demand, she was still feeling ready for anything.

The Hollywood star has this week met with Somali activist Dr. Hawa Abdi, as well as spending down time in the city with a visit to Trattoria Milanese restaurant with friends.

Continuing to make an impact during her visit, Sharon visited the Milan Expo 2015 world's fair in Rho nearby on Saturday.

This is the second time Milan hosts the Expo, the first Milan International Exposition took place in 1906 

She was seen powering a water pump at the Save the Children pavilion on the occasion as fans gathered to appreciate her work.

The American star, eye-catchingly clad in leather and shorts, showed off her patriotism side, sporting a Barack Obama bag across her body.

Sharon is well known for her humanitarian work and received the Harvard Foundation's 2005 Humanitarian Award, having already worked tirelessly with the charity for 10 years.

She is a dedicated fundraiser and advocate for AIDS research, her work in Tanzania and work on behalf of women.

On Friday night, Sharon - along with American country singer Reba McEntire - was awarded the Andrea Bocelli Humanitarian Award.
