She is gearing up for her next big role in life, becoming a mother to her first child.

And on Saturday, Cat Deeley seemed to be taking her pregnancy in a stride as she arrived at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards in Los Angeles with husband Patrick Kielty.

The 38-year-old, who announced her pregnancy a couple of weeks ago, looked absolutely sensational in a show-stopping black gown.

The sizzling ensemble, complete with a sexy thigh-high slit, highlighted her lean and slender frame perfectly, while she stood tall in an envy-inducing pair of silver heels.

With her golden-tinted tresses swept into a chic ponytail, the Birmingham-born beauty toughened up the look with dramatic eyewear and bold nude lipstick.

Her handsome beau, 44, cut a stylish figure next to her, wearing a smart tuxedo with a crisp white shirt and black bow-tie.

At the start of the month, the married couple revealed they are expecting their first child together in 2016, after three years of marriage.

The presenter and her partner - who she married in a secret ceremony in Rome, Italy, in 2012 - said they were 'so happy' after sharing the news via Twitter.

She gushed: 'Exciting news... Paddy and I are so happy to be expecting our first child in the spring... Lucky us.'

The pair met when they presented Fame Academy together in 2002 and remained friends for almost a decade before making their debut as a couple in March 2012 and they married six months later.

Cat hit the big time in the States in 2006 when she began to host the US dance show SYTYCD, while Paddy's work remained in the UK.
