The former Melrose Place darling, 46, attended the Son Jung Wan fashion show in New York on Saturday, looking perky and confident.

The show is of course a part of the ongoing New York Fashion Week.

Kelly Rutherford deserves to put her custody battle on the back burner for once. All smiles, the actress attended the Son Jung Wan show on Saturday in a white frock by the designer.

This dress does not hail from the designer's collections -- so no doubt it was made especially for Kelly.

We love the stark white color -- yes, even after Labor Day -- and the crisscross shoulders and, best of all, the frayed hem. Unfinished edges, seams, exposed zippers and ribbon worn on the outside instead of inside are all edgy details that keep fashion unpredictable. Ironically, those are the details that differentiate the high-end from high street.
