He's certainly a keen follower of fashion, and has already been seen at numerous New York Fashion Week events.

And fans of Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton will surely not be surprised by the fact he stepped out in another daring look on Sunday evening.

The blond bachelor embraced a typically interesting look as he joined new pal, US rapper Tyga, on the front row at the Opening Ceremony showcase.

Hell for leather! The Formula One ace rocked a pair of leather trousers and a kooky silk shirt for the star-studded fashion event

Getting increasingly adventurous with his sense of style, the 30 year-old fashionista wore silk shirt with a baseball collar over a long-sleeved jersey top.

Not backwards in coming forwards, he teamed the look with a pair of leather trousers.

He capped the look with a pair of designer sunglasses, high-top trainers, diamond earrings and a chunky watch.

Posing up a storm on the front row, he was clearly upping the ante in the presence of Tyga, who also wore a pair of statement sunnies.

Joined by his beau, Kylie Jenner, he was far from subtle wearing head-to-toe maroon. The Rack City star wore a matching shiny utility shirt and pants, which he rolled at the ankle.

Not done there he accessorised with a pair of matching lace-up sneakers and even maroon sunglasses which he wore despite it being night time.

The pair was joined at the Opening Ceremony show by other celebrities Kelly Osbourne, Rosario Dawson and Jessica Alba.

Not that Lewis was without female company, of course.

He was joined by brunette singer Tanashe, who seemed to be colour co-ordinated with Tyga in her choice of burgundy clothing.

The sighting comes not long after Lewis confirmed that he is officially single - and happy to be associated with women as long as they're beautiful.

'I'm single. I'm not attached to anyone,' he told Dan Wootton. 'I'm a free spirit so I'm just going in with no plans to settle down any time soon. I'm going to focus on my career. I'm enjoying my music.

'I've been associated with some really beautiful women. I don't even mind...as long as they are beautiful women.'

The comments come shortly after he was seen partying up a storm with Rihanna, then attending the GQ Awards with Fanny Neguesha, last Tuesday.
