She's the Boss! Proud father Bruce Springsteen watches his daughter Jessica, 23, compete in showjumping event in Rome
He's used to commanding the limelight while on stage, but rock icon Bruce Springsteen was happy to play second fiddle to his showjumping daughter Jessica on Sunday.
Sitting in the stands at the Longines Global Championships Tour in Rome, the 65-year-old Born To Run singer looked on proudly as his 23-year-old daughter competed in the equestrian event.
Sat with his wife Patti Scialfa, 62, watched as their daughter took to the sandy arena in the Italian capital with one of her competition horses.

Opting for a smart casual look for the well-attended event, Bruce wore an open-neck white shirt under a blue jacket, whilst he retained a rock star edge to his look with a pair of shades.
Jessica's mother, Patti, coordinated with her husband's smart casual attire and wore a dark navy ensemble, while she also donned a pair of sunglasses.
Meanwhile, the musical couple's second child - who has two brothers Evan, 25, and Sam, 21 - was dressed in Gucci's equestrian collection.

Confidently manoeuvring her steed around the eventing enclosure, the professional rider - who has been involved with horses since she was five - looked determined and confident as she jumped her horse over various obstacles.
According to her rider profile on the Longines website Jessica's goal is to represent the US in the 2016 Rio Olympics, and she describes competing in the Global Champions Tour as being a great experience with great locations.

Speaking to the LA Times last year about her Olympic aspirations, she said: 'I did the trials two years ago, just to kind of test it out. It was a really good experience and made me really want to go to the Games. I'll try again in another two years and hopefully this time I will make it.'
Jessica was raised between the Springsteen family's horse farm in Colts Neck, New Jersey, and another home the family own in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The beautiful competitor is also a Gucci equestrian ambassador, and was listed as an alternate rider for the 2012 US Olympic team for the games in London.
