After enjoying some of New York Fashion Week action, Gabrielle Union and husband Dwyane Wade headed out for some quiet time together.

The duo - who celebrated their first wedding anniversary last month - stopped for a bite to eat at Cafe Clover in the West Village and looked perfectly coordinated in stylish black ensembles.

Gabrielle, 42, wore a shimmering embellished black dress with plunging neckline.

The Being Mary Jane star teamed it with ankle-strap stilettos and a box clutch and wore her should-length hair in soft waves.

Miami Heat star Dwyane opted for a more urban look in a zip-up top and shorts.

The 33-year-old athlete added a stylish touch with a black hat.

Earlier in the evening, the couple sat front row at the Prabal Gurung Spring 2016 fashion show.

The actress recently opened up to Redbook about the subject of starting a family with Dwyane - who is nearly 10 years her junior.

'His teammates, were conceived when I was, like, a senior in high school. I was in high school at the same time as their parents!

'Sometimes he'll be like, "Oh, my God, he’s so old!" about someone who's 35. But, Dwyane's an old 33, and I’m a young 42, so it balances out."

She revealed: 'So far, it has not happened for us. A lot of my friends deal with this,

'There’s a certain amount of shame that is placed on women who have perhaps chosen a career over starting a family younger. The penance for being a career woman is barrenness. You feel like you're wearing a scarlet letter.'

Gabrielle is stepmother to Dwyane's three young sons from previous relationships; Xavier, Zaire and Zion.
