She's used to parading her incredible, athletic figure on the Victoria's Secret runway.

So it's no surprise that Alessandra Ambrosio chose to highlight her best assets when she headed out for the evening in New York City on Monday evening.

The 34-year-old Brazilian supermodel showed off her washboard stomach and sculpted abs in a leather bralet for a night out on the town.

Alessandra paired her tiny top with some seriously sexy, high-waisted trousers bearing a sheer lace band running around the waist.

The runway diva's glamorous look was given a masculine edge thanks to an elegant suit jacket and a metallic, studded clutch bag.

She added a pair of pointed black heels and some dazzling silver earrings and bangles to complete her rock chic look.

The bronzed bombshell wore her brunette locks down loose and opted for natural make-up to enhance her stunning features.

Alessandra left her children Anja, seven, and Noah, three, in the company of her longterm partner, businessman Jamie Mazur, for the evening.

The star works hard to maintain her figure and credits regular Pilates with keeping her toned and trim, as well as a healthy lifestyle.

'When I started with Victoria’s Secret at 21, I never worked out,' Alessandra previously told Us Weekly, revealing that she only started exercising after she became a mother.

Despite making her living as one of the world's top lingerie models, the star is conscious about teaching her daughter that it's what's inside that matters.

'A perfect body isn't everything. A perfect butt doesn't make an amazing person', she added.
