Shia LaBeouf has been spotted several times in recent weeks with a dreadlocked brunette - now identified as American Honey co-star Sasha Lane - and it seems things are progressing quickly.

The 29-year-old has apparently already moved in with his new girlfriend, following his dramatic row - and assumed split - with Mia Goth in June, as reported by Page Six.

Most recently the new couple were spotted in matching casual style as they grabbed lunch together in Sherman Oaks, California at the end of August.

The Fury actor was first seen holding hands with a mystery woman two weeks ago, which further fueled speculation that he had split from Mia.

It has now emerged that the brunette was his co-star in the upcoming Andrea Arnold-directed drama, and things have progressed very quickly between the pair.

'They fell in love, and have moved in together,' a source told the New York Post's Page Six column of the two.

'Sasha was completely unknown,' the source continued, adding: 'She's also become best friends with Riley Keough - another American Honey star. Riley's been taking her to fashion shows in Paris. She is going to be a huge star.'

Little is known about Sasha, whose Facebook page says she works as a hostess at chain restaurant On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina in Texas.

The actress - who described American Honey on Instagram as 'The biggest blessing of my life' - was said to have been 'completely destitute' before being discovered by Andrea and cast in American Honey.

The film follows a runaway teen girl as she gets caught up with a crew of hard-partying, law-bending band of misfits on a trip across the Midwest.

Sasha has shared a series of photos alongside cast members on her Instagram account since being cast in the film, posting a shot of Shia working at a table in early August, with the caption: 'Home.'

Shia's new romance comes after he and Mia, 22, had an explosive row in Tubingen, Germany, in July, when the Transformers star was overheard saying he would've 'killed' his partner.

The two were filmed having an argument on the street and footage showed him telling locals he was afraid of what he might have done had he not walked away.

The former Disney Channel star could be heard saying: 'I don't wanna touch a woman. I don't wanna hit a woman. I'm getting pushed.'

After being offered a lift to the airport, he told the driver: 'I gotta get out of here, bro. I gotta get outta here, bro. If I had stayed there I would've killed her.'

The video showed Shia desperately pleading with Mia to give him his bag, as he was apparently trying to leave to go to the airport, and his girlfriend took his backpack in a bid to get him to stay

In the video obtained by Entertainment Tonight, he says: 'I don't wanna touch you. I don't wanna be aggressive. This is the kind of s**t that makes a person abusive.'

'Can I have my bag, please? I just want my bag. Please just give me my bag,' he could be heard pleading, before locals intervened to give Shia a ride to the airport.

The couple had been dating since 2012, after meeting while working together on the movie Nymphomaniac.

Shia recently worked alongside Kate Mara, Gary Oldman, and Jai Courtney in sci-fi thriller Man Down, which just premiered at the Venice Film Festival.
