Kristen Stewart reconnected with her inner vampire when she attended the premiere of Equals at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday in an edgy black dress.

The 25-year-old Twilight star was spellbinding in a dramatic and lightweight gown that had satin ribbons strapped across her cleavage.

Kristen heightened the intensity with her shoulder-length hair, which was severely slicked back over her head.

While Kristen sympathized with the motivation behind creating an emotion-less world, she questioned the type of impact such a world would have when she spoke with Entertainment Weekly at the festival.

'You go through something a little bit too hard, and the first instinct is always like, I hate this, I don’t want this, if I could just not feel this,' she said.

Addressing the film's plot, she added: 'We have stifled every emotion, anything to do with anger, fear. We're completely neutralized.

Speaking to The Daily Beast, Kristen said: 'Our idea was that they had learned how conception happened in our history, but it's a completely unrelatable concept now, so kissing wasn't even in the textbook.

'It’s tantamount to what you learn in middle school now about how you conceive children. We wanted to make it look foreign, and found, and completely natural - but new.'

Equals will be released in Argentina on December 31.
