Rachel McAdams shows off fabulous figure in sheer floral dress at TIFF premiere... as it is revealed she will star in Doctor Strange opposite Benedict Cumberbatch

She was at the Toronto International Film Festival promoting her next film.

But it looks like Rachel McAdams is already eyeing her next big project.

The 36-year-old actress looked absolutely fabulous in a sheer floral number as she hit the red carpet premiere of her flick Spotlight.

However, at the event she revealed that she is set to star opposite Benedict Cumberbatch in the upcoming Doctor Strange film.

According to a Monday report from The Wrap, Rachel confirmed the news that she has been cast in the upcoming Marvel flick.

No doubt the good news put her in good spirits as she was all smiles while posing for a few snaps at the star-studded event.

The Notebook actress flaunted her fabulous figure in a sheer black dress featuring a multi-coloured floral detailing up top and lace on the skirt.

The see-through ensemble showed off her black undergarments as she kept with the dark theme by wearing silk black heels.

Rachel wore her signature blonde hair down on one side with it slicked back on the other-side as she sported natural, complimentary make-up on her face topped off with a swipe of pink lip.

Also at the event were her co-stars Michael Keaton, Liev Schreiber and Mark Ruffalo who hammed it up on the red carpet.

The biopic is centred around the true story on how the Boston Globe uncovered a massive scandal of child molestation and cover-up within a Catholic Archdiocese.

One of the men from the investigative news writing team, Michael Rezendes, was also at the premiere as he had a little bit of fun with 47-year-old Mark, who plays him in the flick. It is set for release in the US on 6 November followed by a UK release on 29 January 2016.

As for Doctor Strange, Tilda Swinton and Chiwetel Ejiofor will reportedly be joining Rachel and Benedict in the flick directed by Scott Derrickson.

The movie is centred around a brilliant but arrogant surgeon who gets a new lease on life when a sorcerer guides him to help defend the world against evil. It is set for release in November 2016.
