UPDATED Eight people are dead and five are missing after a flash flood hit two cars holding 16 people in Hilldale, Utah Monday night. All of the victims were either women and children and included a 4-year-old child. The vehicles had stopped to observe the flood that was coming from surrounding areas when they were hit with a wall of water and debris. Hilldale is near the Arizona border and home to a fundamentalist Mormon sect once governed by Warren Jeffs, who is serving a life in prison sentence. Also on Monday night, a local caught the dramatic rescue of a car full of women and children in the area (left and top right). The video shows emergency workers wading out into the rushing muddy waters to rescue the women and children wearing prairie dresses.
