Michelle Duggar received birthday messages via social media on Sunday as the family matriarch turned age 49.

Jessa Duggar, 22, posted a video on YouTube to wish her mother happy birthday.

She's expecting her first child with husband Ben Seewald and praised her mother's parenting skills.

Birthday message: Jessa Duggar posted a video on YouTube on Sunday praising her mother Michelle on her 49th birthday

'As Ben and I are looking forward to being parents in the next couple months I just think that are so many things that I learned from you that I'm really looking froward to implementing in my own home,' Jessa said while placing her hands on her baby bump.

The former reality star also lauded her mother's patience and her 'love for Jesus'.

'You're very patient with the kids and even whenever they're acting up or doing something wrong you're very calm in the way you handle it,' Jessa said.

'Any time things are going crazy you're always pointing us to Jesus and I know that's your rock in tough times,' she added.

Josiah, 19, also posted a video for Michelle.

Michelle's oldest daughter Jana, 25, also shared a video saying that she 'hopes to be like' her mother some day.

Jill, 24, posted a tender snap on Instagram showing her mother with her grandson Israel.

'Happy Birthday Momma! You're the best mom anyone could dream of! I'm so thankful for your constant encouragement, wise advice and sweet spirit. You're my hero and I love you TONS!,' she wrote in the caption.

Josh Duggar, 27, was silent on social media following his recent involvement in the Ashley Madison cheating scandal.
