Teresa Giudice calls the shots from inside prison as husband Joe plays Mr. Mom to their girls in sneak peek of Bravo's RHONJ special
She may be behind bars but that's not stopping Teresa Giudice from at least still being heard, if not seen, on reality TV.
On Monday, Bravo released the first look at a three-part special that shows how Joe is coping with their four daughters while the Real Housewives Of New Jersey star is doing time in federal prison.
And it's clear that Teresa is still calling the shots as she calls in from the penitentiary on a daily basis to check up on her brood.

RHONJ special: Joe Giudice is seen on camera in the three-part Bravo spin-off but it's Teresa who's calling the shots by phone from behind bars
The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In premieres on Sunday October 11 and follows Joe as he handles the day-to-day lives and tribulations of Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, nine, and Audriana, five.
He's had to run the household solo since Teresa started serving a 15-month term behind bars at the Danbury Federal Correction Institution in Connecticut.
'It's hard keeping up with all these kids,' he said. 'I'm doing a lot. I think I've even lost about 10 pounds.'
Trying to be brave: Joe and Teresa have four daughters and not surprisingly they're really missing their mom while shes in prison
Sentenced: The reality TV family face being parted for months yet since Joe is scheduled to begin his 41-month prison term once Teresa completes her 15-months behind bars
Working hard: Joe said in the video trailer that it takes a lot to run the household and keep an eye on everyone
And as seen in the newly released video, being Mr. Mom means lecturing Gia about not dancing too close to her date at her eighth-grade prom, preventing Milania from helping herself to coffee, brushing the girls hair and cooking dinner.
Gia acknowledges to her aunt and fellow RHONJ star Melissa Gorga that her dad is pulling out all the stops but it's just not the same as having their mom around.
'He's, like, pretty good. He helps out,' the teen said. 'He tries his best but I mean, like, it's rough without my mom there.'
Setting the rules: He's seen lecturing eldest daughter Gia, 14, about doing any close up dancing with her date while at her eighth grade prom
Helping herself: Milania, nine, has a penchant for coffee, something her dad doesn't allow her to have....
Now for the creamer: .... so she helps herself anyway when he's not around
Hair today: It's clear that helping his daughters with their toilette doesn't come naturally to the Italian native
Doing it all: Joe is also seen cooking and serving up the family dinners
Throughout the two minute video, Teresa's voice is a constant and twice she's heard uttering a prayer to keep her family safe while she's gone.
'Oh, please God, bring me home to my family as soon as possible,' she's heard saying over the phone that's on speaker. 'And bless my four daughters and my husband. Amen.'
The extended family including Teresa's brother Joe Gorga and wife Melissa are also featured in the clip with Joe telling Melissa he really hopes they can all be a family again.
Phoning it in: Throughout the sneak peek, Teresa's voice is heard as she checks in daily on how her family is doing
Trying to cope: Gia confided in her aunt Melissa Gorga that even though her dad is trying his best, it's just not the same as having her mom there
Downtime: Joe and the girls are seen relaxing on the Jersey shore as they take a break from the domestic routine
Teresa started serving her time for fraud on January 5 and is scheduled for an early release on December 23.
However, once her sentence is completed, it will be Joe's turn to enter lock up after he too was convicted on multiple fraud charges and tax evasion.
He was handed down a 41-month prison sentence and in addition to federal prison time, he also faces an 18-month sentence after pleading guilty last October to unlawful use of an ID and impersonation.
He also faces possible deportation back to his native Italy.
Doing time: Teresa began serving a 15-month sentence for fraud on January 5 at the Federal Correction Institution in Danbury, Connecticut. She's expected to be released early in December
Missing his sister: Teresa's brother Joe Gorga expressed his hope that they could all be a family again
