Mel B looks fierce in cut-out body and slinky cigarette pants as she hosts NYFW street party... as it emerges Victoria Beckham HAS given the Spice Girls reunion her blessing

She may not have a clothing line to showcase at New York Fashion Week but Mel B still managed to wangle her way into the limelight as she hosted the Essence Street Style Block Party in the Big Apple on Sunday night.

The former Spice Girl took centre stage as Essence magazine welcomed fashionistas and street style bloggers to the bash, held under the Manhattan Bridge Archway.

The 40-year-old TV judge looked glamorous in a white cut-out bodysuit with lace panelling which she paired with black high-waisted cigarette pants.

She rounded off her chic outfit with metallic silver Louboutins, blingy stud earrings and some delicate gold bracelets.

Her glossy brunette tresses dusted over her shoulders and were sleeked back behind her ears in a centre parting.

She added a flash of colour to her black and white ensemble with bright purple lipstick and a hint of blusher.

En route to the bash Mel shared a fierce-looking selfie from the passenger seat of her car on her Instagram account.

Along with the image, she wrote: 'Don't you dare mess with me, I’m busy, bye bye #currentmoood #NY'

Later on she shared yet another selfie, except this time she was joined by her 16-year-old daughter Phoenix Chi.

But in between sharing photos of herself, Mel called out reports that she and her Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Beckham had fallen out over a potential reunion to mark 20 years since the release of the group's debut single Wannabe.

According to The Sun, Mel B had allegedly branded her ex-bandmate a 'snob' after she 'snubbed' the rest of the band.

And Mel was clearly unimpressed by the claims.

Setting the record straight on Twitter, she said: 'Utter bulsh*t wtf B and Victoria Beckham 'at war' over Spice Girls reunion tour'.

However, the newspaper claimed today that it's all been a misunderstanding and that Victoria has, in fact, given her former bandmates her blessing to go ahead.

Dan Wootton's 'Spice insider' revealed: 'Victoria met Geri recently to have an afternoon together reminiscing about old times.

'Geri filled Victoria in on the plans for the reunion next year and while Victoria made it clear she couldn't make it, she said she was more than happy for the other girls to go ahead.

'Victoria also told Geri she would be at one of the shows, or maybe more, cheering from the front row,' added the source.
