Former CNN anchor Felicia Taylor was arrested for drunk driving after she reportedly side-swiped a car in the Hamptons and tested three-times over the legal limit, reports the New York Post.

Taylor was involved in the late-afternoon accident on September 4.

She was reportedly so intoxicated that she was then taken to Southampton Hospital 'for medical evaluation,' according to police.

Taylor, 51, most recently anchored CNN International’s 'World Business Today.' She was also the cohost of Retirement Living TV's Daily Cafe until 2009.

She also worked for WNBC-TV from 1998 to 2006.

Taylor was reportedly trying to turn onto Main Street in tony Sag Harbor, the country playground for Manhattan's elite, when the crash occurred. She was charged with aggravated DWI.

'My client could not have fully cooperated with the authorities in the respectable manner that she did if she were under such influence,' said her lawyer, Edward Burke Jr., according to the Post.

'The breathalyzer was administered three times... proof of an inaccurate reading.'

Taylor is the daughter of the late actor Rod Taylor, who starred with Teppi Hedren in Alfred Hitchcock's classic The Birds.
