Having a splashing time! Amy Duggar shows off her bikini body on honeymoon with Dillon King in Mexico

He is rightly proud of his beautiful new wife.

And on Sunday Amy Duggar's husband Dillon King shared an Instagram video clip of the 28-year-old in a tiny blue strapless bikini splashing around in the plunge pool at their hotel suite in Cancun, Mexico.

Dillon, also 28, captioned the clip: 'I like our patio, our private plunge pool is so much more awesome, but my wife rocks even harder @amyrachelleking, #honeymoonkings, #DillandDuggsforever, and #ringsfortheKings.'

He also name-checked his wife's Instagram handle, which she has changed to @amyrachelleking. 

The short clip drew lots of comments from fans of the religious couple, according to Us Weekly, and not all were positive.

The magazine cited one who wrote: 'A lot of young girls would benefit from you being a little more modest in the things you wear and post on IG. No matter how you look at it… a 2 piece bathing suit is a fancy bra/panty set.'

Another fan defended Amy, who is the niece of 19 Kids And Counting's Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.

The fan wrote: 'Are you serious? She is wearing a bikini on her honeymoon. Women need to stop body-shaming other women! "Modesty," as you describe it, is nothing more than a tool for men to control women.'

Amy's famous cousins have revealed that one of their parents' rules is to cover their knees and shoulders at all time.

Amy and Dillon tied the knot on September 6 outside a charming barn at Horton Farms in Bentonville, Arkansas.

The vacation is a reprieve from the turmoil surrounding the Duggar family in light of oldest son Josh's admission he molested five girls when he was in his teens and cheated on his wife Anna on the infamous website Ashley Madison.

Amy was stressed before the wedding and considered cancelling the whole affair due to the unwanted publicity Josh, 27,  generated.

But the couple decided to move forward with the wedding in front of their 400 invited guests.
