Taylor Swift leads MTV EMA nominations with record-breaking NINE as Justin Bieber fancies his chances with six
She championed in four out of the ten categories she was nominated in at the MTV Video Music Awards last month.
And Taylor Swift looks set to expand her silverware collection even further after receiving a record-breaking nine MTV Europe Music Awards nominations in the list which was announced on Tuesday.
The Bad Blood singer's global smash hit, in collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, is up for three accolades - Best Song, Best Video and newly-introduced category Best Collaboration - and the 25-year-old has been nominated in every possible additional category.

She's also up for Best Pop, Best Female, Best Live Act, Biggest Fans and Best Look and will go head-to-head with male pop royalty Justin Bieber in three of those five categories.
Justin, 21, has a good chance of acquiring some new silverware at the ceremony next month which is to be held at the Mediolanum Forum in Milan, Italy.
With a total of six nominations - Best Pop, Best Male, Best Collaboration, Biggest Fans and Best Look - it's set to be a big night for the Confident hit-maker and his female rival.

Meanwhile, it could be a promising night for British talents with Ed Sheeran leading the way with three nods.
Ellie Goulding and One Direction also have two each with Jessie Ware, Charli XCX, Mark Ronson, Dizzee Rascal, Rita Ora and Jess Glynne all named in one category a piece.
The most controversial category is undoubtedly Best Female as arch-enemies Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj - who hosted last year's ceremony - are both nominated, along with Taylor.
The duo's ongoing feud reached fever-pitch at last month's MTV VMAs which Miley hosted.
During her acceptance speech for Best Hip Hop Video, the Starships rapper called out the 22-year-old, branding her a 'b***h'.
'And now back to this b**** that had a lot to say to me in the press. What's good?,' she fumed on stage.
The former Disney star hit back, saying: 'We are all in this industry, we all do interviews and we all know how they manipulate s**t. Nicki congratulations.'
The host for the MTV EMAs is yet to be announced.
