Kim Kardashian's considered the queen of mother-and-daughter dressing but Mel B looked set to give the pregnant star a run for her money as she stepped out on a family dinner in New York on Monday night.

The former Scary Spice was spotted storming the streets of the Big Apple in the late hours of the evening, hand-in-hand with her two youngest daughters - Madison, four, and eight-year-old Angel - with 16-year-old Phoenix following behind.

Mel and Madison sported similar nude-palette ensembles with the 40-year-old highlighting her fit figure in a taupe leather skirt and a white knitted vest while the youngster was dressed in a white and nude tutu dress.

The ex X Factor judge's skirt featured an asymmetric hem which skimmed one knee and concealed the other.

Mel exposed her slender calves in the form-fitting piece with a pair of nude heeled sandals lengthening her frame.

Her choice of top was a bold one as it was partially see-through thanks to the lightweight woolen material.

A glimpse of her bust, which was concealed in a black push-up bra, could be seen as the flashbulbs went off.

Her youngest daughter - whose father is Mel's latest husband Stephen Belafonte - added a statement touch to her pretty frock with a pair of leopard print leggings and grey fringed ankle boots.

Madison appeared to have inherited her mother's penchant for the limelight as she was seen pulling cutesy poses as the family made their way home.

Meanwhile, Angel, whose father is Eddie Murphy, showcased her individual style in a purple version of her sister's sweet one-piece with a glittering gold cardigan offering a contrasting touch.

Phoenix's father is Dutch dancer Jimmy Gulzar whom her mother married in 1998 and divorced two years later.

The family outing comes soon after Mel was forced to deny rumours of a fallout with ex-bandmate Victoria Beckham.

The Sun claimed the pair were 'at war' after Mel had branded the successful designer a 'snob' for 'snubbing' the Nineties pop group's 20th anniversary reunion.

OK! Magazine reported the allegations and published the story on their Twitter page, prompting Mel to hit back.

Rubbishing all rumours of a feud, she commented alongside the link to the story: 'Utter bulls**t wtf.'
