Donning stylish sunglasses and sweeping her dark locks back in a neat ponytail, the former pop star looked ready for business.

Mel paired the turquoise and red dress with metallic pointed pumps for a striking look which complemented her skin tone.

She kept her accessories simple with a pair of diamond stud-earrings.

The finalists performing live on America's Got Talent on Tuesday are comedian Drew Lynch, ventriloquist Paul Zerdin, The Professional Regurgitator, Piff the Magic Dragon (magician), Oz Pearlman (mind tricks), The CraigLewis Band (vocalists, musicians), Uzeyeer Novruzov who does a free-standing ladder act, singer and guitar player Benton Blount, magician Derek Hughes and comedian Gary Vider.

The ex X Factor judge wore a nude leather skirt with asymmetric hem and white tank top as she held hands with her two youngest.

Missing from the outing was Mel's husband Stephen Belafonte who is father to Madison.

Earlier in the day Mel stopped by the Today Show to chat about the forthcoming finale and fellow judge Howard Stern's departure from AGT.

Mel said: 'I'm sad he's not going to be doing it. He's so great. He's a great guy to work with. A great judge. A bit moody and grumpy sometimes...but he's Howard'

And when pressed on a possible Spice Girl reunion, Mel showed nothing but enthusiasm for the prospect.

The star formerly known as Scary Spice said 'I wanna make it happen! It's our 20th year anniversary' before adding 'No news yet. No official announcement. We're just kind of talking.'

Mel was recently forced to deny rumours of a fallout with ex-bandmate Victoria Beckham.

The Sun claimed the pair were 'at war' after Mel had branded the successful designer a 'snob' for 'snubbing' the Nineties pop group's reunion.

OK! Magazine reported the allegations and published the story on their Twitter page, prompting Mel to hit back.

Rubbishing all rumours of a feud, she commented alongside the link to the story: 'Utter bulls**t wtf.'
