She crashed out of the US Open last week after a shock loss to unseeded Italian Roberta Vinci.

But tennis star Serena Williams bounced back in style with a triumphant catwalk show at New York Fashion Week.

The multi-talented 33-year-old was cheered on by her rumoured boyfriend Drake, who sat front row alongside Vogue's Anna Wintour.

What Anna Wintour wants, Anna Wintour gets. The top editrix of Vogue is one of the most powerful women in fashion so of course her enviable wardrobe is ripped straight from the runway.

For instance, Anna's blue abstract print dress came from Prada's Fall 2015 catwalk show in Milan. We're sure the custom piece was designed especially for her.

Muiccia Prada's Autumn/Winter collection was chock full of goodies. Ostrich leather jackets, tweed pantsuits, and dresses adorned with embellished bows were just some of the looks that were featured.

The 28-year-old Energy hitmaker and 65-year-old reporter seemed to have a good time hanging out at the event as they shared a few giggles together during the catwalk show.

Models Gigi Hadid and Lily Aldridge also showed their support in the audience creating an even more star-studded atmosphere.

The fashion show was quickly praised by Vogue's contributing editor, Andre Talley.

Grand slam: As plenty of the pieces from her collection featured the a fringed detailing, Serena kept the theme of the fashion show going with her very revealing skirt

Brunette beauty: She wore her straight dark locks down flowing over her shoulders as she sported natural, complimentary make-up on her face

Superstar: The very revealing get-up showed off her very athletic legs as she completed the look with a pair of matching black leather heels

Fabulous physique: She showed off her curvaceous figure as she waved and turned on the catwalk

Round of applause: Serena let the moment sink in just for a second as she smiled and waved while the audience clapped along

He praised the fringe detailing of a few of the pieces and declared it a 'smash hit collection' on Instagram.

As Serena is known for her rather athletic physique, she made the interesting choice of using typical, skinny models for the fashion show.

At the end of the presentation, it was Serena's turn to strut her stuff on the runway as she rocked an all black ensemble from her collection.

The number one ranked women's tennis player in the world wore a black low-cut jacket over a pair of very tiny shorts and kept the fringe-theme going with a skirt featuring very long trimming.

She added to her look with black stilettos and wore her straight brunette locks down flowing over her shoulders as she sported natural, complimentary make-up on her face.

Though Drake and Serena have yet to officially confirm a relationship, they definitely appeared to be more than friends as they shared an intimate talk after the show was over.

After the presentation Serena, Drake and a few other friends were spotted celebrating with a meal at Bagatelle in New York City's Meatpacking district.

The garments that were on display at the event are from the tennis star-turned-fashionista's upcoming Spring/Summer 2016 collection and the runway show was aired live in the US on the Home Shopping Network.

No doubt the event was a welcome distraction as she lost her bid for a calender-year Grand Slam in the semi-finals of the US Open on Friday against Italian Roberta Vinci.

Prior to that she had won her previous four Grand Slam tournaments, including all three this year and her last 33 matches in majors.
