It was the sex trafficking gala held by Unitas - an organisation which provides humanitarian aid to socially endangered people.

It is a non-profit charitable organization which believes in traditional human values and has a mission to help end the injustice of modern slavery. .

According to the website, every 30 seconds, someone becomes a victim of modern-day slavery and 99% of these victims are never rescued.

There are an estimated 27 million human trafficking victims, across the globe, and of which more than 20% are children with an average age of 12 years.

In Europe, half of all human trafficking victims originate from the Balkans.
