Kim Kardashian rolled out another unconventional maternity look in New York on Monday.

The 34-year-old reality star wore a huge floor-length fur coat along with a leather mini-skirt, thigh-high boots and a Pink Floyd T-shirt for a solo outing.

It comes after the pregnant star opened up about her pregnancy style on her newly launched website, kimkardashianwest.com.

She's married to rapper Kanye West, but little did we know that Kim Kardashian was a fan of heavy metal. The reality star went for a rock-chic look while out in NYC when we wore a ripped t-shirt and leather mini skirt.

Kim finished off her outfit with a long fur coat, dark Celine shades and a pair of Gianvito Rossi boots. The suede thigh high stunners featured a pointy toe and stiletto heel. It wasn't exactly maternity wear, but then again the pregnant fashionista doesn't exactly play by the rules when it comes to style.

Kim explained a bit about why she's stubbornly wearing long coats despite the summer temperatures on both coasts of the US.

The star revealed she wears the garments to 'cover my fat arms and a**!

'I don't care what the weather is, I will always wear my coats. I am always freezing, so it works out perfectly for me!'

She also revealed that she's 'mortified' when she looks back on some of the outfits she wore while carrying her daughter North.

But this time around, she's 'confident' and happy with her fashion choices.

'I actually am a few pounds heavier this pregnancy than my last, yet somehow I look so different,' she writes.

'Maybe it’s because you carry a boy differently than a girl, maybe it’s because I don’t have the swelling that I had last time when I had preeclampsia, OR maybe it’s because I am confident in my style and know what to expect.'

The Gold Digger hit maker will be previewing his second Yeezy collection and will be streaming the runway show in select theatres around the world.

Kim and Kanye are expecting a baby boy in December and reportedly intend on naming him Easton.
