Andy Murray pulls out of Davis Cup dinner as Great Britain prepare for semi-final clash against Australia

Andy Murray gave Britain's Davis Cup team a scare when he failed to attend the semi-finals official dinner on Wednesday night after complaining of feeling 'unwell'.

The world No 3 trained earlier in the day and attended the team press conference without making any mention of being under par.

He is a also known not to enjoy official functions and did not attend the draw at last years quarter-final against Italy citing a similar reason.

Murray trained earlier in the day and showed no signs of being anything other than fully fit

However he has had a massive workload this summer. Any illness to Murray would be a huge bow to the GB team, for who he is the standout player.

Dan Evans has been brought into the group although that was assumed as cover for Edmund or to challenge for the second singles spot.
