She has every reason to smile.

And despite putting in a hard days practice, Bindi Irwin looked fresh-faced and happy as she left rehearsals for Dancing With The Stars on Wednesday.

The Bunderim born Australian teen grinned from ear to ear and even managed a dance move as she climbed into a waiting car.

No doubt she was feeling confidence after the premiere episode of season 21 where she tied first alongside her partner Derek Hough with Nick Carter and his partner Sharna Burgess.

Wearing a pair of comfy converse sneakers, she was clad in black leggings and a dark T-shirt.

The animal fan's top appeared to have a cheetah on it.

Her long locks which were know doubt scraped off her faced for most of the day as she practised, swung around her shoulders as she smiled. 

The 17-year-old contestant held an empty bottle of water in her hands along with what looked to be a towel. 

She was also spotted clasping two different pairs of dancing heels, which were no doubt getting a workout.

Going shirtless, he had taken off his top and was showing off his toned torso.

He finished off his look with a pair of slouchy jeans and a trucker cap.

The teenager and older brother of Julianne Hough put in one of the strongest performances of the night and topped the scores on the show's season premiere on Monday.

Bindi wowed the judges and the studio audience with her sensational jive dance with partner Derek as she was branded 'The Wonder from Down Under.'

And she could not contain her glee, with a huge smile on her face at the end of the polished performance.

Taking to Instagram after the show, the affable teen thanked partner Derek, writing: 'This experience. I am grateful beyond words for tonight. Thank you all and especially my life coach & dance partner #TeamCrikey.'

Meanwhile, Derek was equally gushing writing of his young protege: 'So proud of this incredible Angel! She continuously reminds me of the magic in this life with her infectious genuine powerful energy. Love you @bindisueirwin #teamCrikey #dwts .'

The dancing pair tied scores with Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and his pro-partner Sharna Burgess with a total of 24.

Also seen at rehearsals on Wednesday was Tamar Braxton and her pro partner and reigning champion Val Chmerkovskiy.

Dancing With The Stars is set to return Monday at 8pm on ABC.
