She launched her new tanning and bronzing collection, The Base, last year. 

And Australian model Lara Bingle, who is rumoured to have wed actor Sam Worthington, says she used her partner as a test subject when developing her range for paler skins.

'I tried so many on Sam too!' Lara tells Lustre Magazine. 'Especially the Gradual Tanning Lotion...as he is very pale and I think it is best for paler skin types to use a gradual colour,'

'Over four days his arms looked really great!'

The former reality TV star, 28, who grew up in Cronulla, reveals she has become vigilant about her skincare regime, paying particularly attention to sun-care after pigmentation started showing.

'I used to tan when I was younger and I’d have to cool my skin down with tomatoes afterwards!,' she confides, adding she's now 'gnarly' about her sun-cream application.

Lara, who is rumoured to be opening a shop in Sydney for her tanning range was spotted out in the harbour city on Tuesday.

It's believed to be the first time the new mother has returned to her home country since giving birth to her son Rocket Zot in the U.S in March.

Looking polished and glamorous the Los Angeles living beauty brought her catwalk-style glamour to the Sydney streets as she appeared to be moving between a series of business meetings.

While Lara cut a stylish figure in a chic layered ensemble, it's not known if her partner and son are with him.

Everest star Sam is likely to be returning to the city at some point as he's set to star in Mel Gibson's directorial project Hacksaw Ridge, which also stars Andrew Garfield and Vince Vaughn.

The WWII flick is slated to begin filming in New South Wales in September, with Gibson already having been spotted in Sydney on multiple occasions. 

While Sam has recently wrapped filming The Shack in Canada, Lara has also been slowing returning back to life in front of the camera after enjoying time out of the spotlight.

The blonde star was recently named as the face of Westfield's new 'Today I Am' campaign, joining Kelly Osbourne as an ambassador.

The blonde beauty shot the campaign in New York last month with her 28-year-old director friend Gracie Otto.
