The Sport's Illustrated cover girl looked as though she may have a wardrobe malfunction at any moment as she posed outside of The Plaza Hotel.
Kate's famous cleavage threatened to spill out of her rather bizarre dress at any moment thanks to the gown's low neckline coupled with its off the shoulder cut.
It was perhaps fortunate that the swimsuit star's physique was distracting people, as the blonde's fashion choice was hardly iconic.

Steal Kate's red carpet style in her dress by Stella McCartney
The Harper's Bazaar Icons party was a very glamorous affair last night with stars like Katy Perry, Mariah Carey and Kendall Jenner all in attendance.
And, of course, Kate Upton, who has been a regular fixture at the shows and events of New York Fashion Week, was also there. She looked like a total bombshell with her blonde hair and Marilyn Monroe-esque beauty spot and what a dress!
It's by Stella McCartney and we've already seen it on Beyonce and Jacqui Ainsley. The folds at the waist create volume and a stunning silhouette while the off-shoulder, asymmetric neckline adds some sexy va va voom.

For the event - which was attended by the who's who of the music, fashion and entertainment industries - the model wore a very usual high low dress.
While primarily a short dress, the black gown featured various length panels of fabric draped from it that created the fashion equivalent of a mullet haircut.
Like many on the carpet on Wednesday, Kate's look featured some sparkle namely a panel of sequins.
But that is where the bling ended as the star skipped wearing any jewellery sans for some diamond earrings.

Perfectly primped: Embracing her sex kitten status, the cover girl wore her hair in a half up, half down beehive which was very reminiscent on Brigitte Bardot
