A Florida woman has been arrested after police discovered over 3,500 weapons in her mobile home.

Deputies arrived at the Brooksville residence of Nickole Dykema to arrest the woman on outstanding warrants Tuesday night, and found the 47-year-old staring at them through a broken window and cursing while ignoring their requests to come outside.

When one of the officers finally entered her trailer to bring her in, she took a machete and went after the man - missing him by inches.

She then hid under her bedroom covers while waving a silver sword.

ABC 2 reports that once inside, police soon realized that there were hundreds of areas and fake body parts scattered around the home.

The sheriff's office said that Dykema soon armed herself with multiple weapons and kept advancing at police as they attempted to get the woman to drop her weapons.

This lasted for over five hours.

Eventually, one of the officers of the scene used a Taser on Dykema when cops began to become concerned for their own safety.

She was not injured and brought in, where she was charged with several counts of probation violation, property damage/criminal mischief, resist officer without violence and assault on an officer.

'This person was obviously dangerous to the community. It amazes me that these deputies were able to take her into custody without anyone being injured. It shows the level of their restraint and professionalism under very difficult and dangerous conditions,' said Sheriff Al Nienhuis.

'Had something gone wrong, it would be easy for critics to accuse them of moving too quickly or too slowly.

'I appreciate their willingness to deal with these very volatile situations. I know the public appreciates them as well.'

Dykema has been previously arrested for resisting an officer without violence, carrying concealed weapon and and providing false name to law enforcement.

Photos of the home shows that the rooms are all unlit and contained hundreds of of blade weapons along with fake heads, fake severed limbs and fake skeletons - almost all with knives stuck in them.

One room also had a picture of a pentagram hanging on the wall with miniature axes sticking out of it and a skeleton dangling in the center.

There is also a satan-like shrine surrounded by skulls, though the pentagrams above that area do not have a goat inside them as is the copyrighted logo of the Church of Satan.

'I was just petrified all the time, said neighbor Dorothy Clagg of Dykema in an interview with CBS 10

'She had a habit of banging on the inside of her house all the time on the walls, and screaming and hollering.'

Another neighbor, Paula Deford, claims she caught Dykema slashing the screens on her home with her security camera.

That is why police came to arrest the woman as  her probation for previous arrests means she is not allowed to have any weapons.

'Everyone in this neighborhood was scared of that woman everyone around here,' said Fuzz Spisok.

'How did she get all of those knives.'
