A pinstripe parade! Public School's Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne present their first collection for DKNY

It was a pinstripe parade at DKNY Wednesday afternoon, as Public School's Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne presented their debut collection as the brand's new creative directors.

Models made their way down a long, 250-ft runway set up in a gleaming white underpass (the soon-to-be new Wesfield shopping district) of the World Trade Center.

Titled Missing Pieces, the spring/summer 2016 collection was about 'putting the pieces together,' Chow explained.

'We're still trying to find ourselves, but we know that it's a long journey and we left ourselves enough leverage to have some fun in the future.'

Playing with classic tailored suiting, Chow and Osborne sent out pinstripes in wool wrap dresses and skirts, and oversize jackets and coats, set against crisp white T-shirts.

Proving that they have a sense of humor, and as a nod to DKNY's DNA, the designers placed pieces of photos taken by Peter Lindbergh in a 1990s ad campaign for the brand, onto coats and asymmetrical dresses.
