NBC is developing 'a modern and sexy retelling' of the eighties ABC series Hart to Hart, except with a gay couple as the wealthy married detectives.
According to Deadline - the reboot will center on a 'by the book attorney Jonathan Hart and free-spirited investigator Dan Hartman' who solve crimes 'in the midst of newly found domesticity.'
Christopher Fife (Revenge, Private Practice) will pen the show based on Sidney Sheldon's mystery/adventure drama, which originally ran from 1979-1984.

For his role as self-made millionaire Jonathan, the 85-year-old actor managed to earn four Golden Globe nominations.
And for her role as freelance journalist Jennifer, the 72-year-old actress amassed five Golden Globe nominations and two Emmy nods.

Wagner and Powers last reunited in 2013 for a GMA/Entertainment Weekly interview.
'It's great to be married if it works. We never got into any domestic squabbles. They constantly wanted to have conflict between us. And we fought very hard for that, didn't we?' asked Robert.
And Stefanie - who did her own hair on the show - replied: 'Yes to be two people who were adults, who were in love with each other, and had chosen to be together and were there because of free will.'
