Jon and partner Jennifer, 45, announced their separation earlier this month- just months after he publicly thanked the actress-and-director for helping him overcome alcohol abuse.

Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner - who worked with Jon on seven seasons of the hit drama - recently said he believes both the actor and his former partner will be just fine as they move on from their 18-year relationship.

He told People: 'It's a personal thing for him, and he's a public person, I guess, so it's an issue.

'All I can say is I wish him the best. I wish them both the best.

'They're both incredibly talented, wonderful people. They'll both find happiness, there's no doubt in my mind.'
