He's been a busy man promoting his new film, The Dressmaker, at the Toronto International Film Festival. 

But jetting out of town on Wednesday was Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, 25, who was spotted walking through the city's airport and leaving Canada. 

The star, who is originally from Melbourne, cut a casual but stylish figure as he made his way through the terminal.

Dressed down in dark, baggy jeans and a brown and dark purple plaid shirt, he looked relaxed as he carried a backpack. 

The hunky star, who is the brother of fellow actors Chris Hemsworth, 32, and Luke Hemsworth, 33, teamed his look with light canvas lace up shoes. 

He had his hair spiked and wore his beard out and scruffy.

Liam first arrived in Toronto for the film festival on Sunday, having caught a flight from Los Angeles. 

He was in town celebrating the premiere of The Dressmaker at the festival. 

Walking the red carpet this week, he suited up for the occasion in a smart pinstripe number.

The movie also stars actress Kate Winslet and actor Hugo Weaving. 

It centres around Kate's character Myrtle, also known as Tilly, who returns to her hometown in Australia.

The drama is based on Rosalie Ham's book and Liam plays the character Teddy who is a love interest to Myrtle. 

Liam is well known for his roles in the films The Hunger Games series and also once appeared on the soap Neighbours.

Being relatively new to social media, he Instagrammed a picture of himself pantless and wearing black underwear this week, while in Toronto. 

He humourously captioned the happy snap: '#TIFF15 #nopants #freeswag.'
