Chelsea’s plans to rebuild Stamford Bridge and build a new 60,000 stadium have been given a boost by Hammersmith and Fulham Council who claim the idea is ‘generally acceptable.’ The west London outfit are now expected to officially apply to the local borough for planning permission having already held two public exhibitions to showcase their plans.
