'Drunk' Iowa sorority leader, 20, arrested 'for peeing on the floor of frozen yogurt shop'

A weekend trip to a frozen yogurt shop ended in handcuffs for a University of Iowa sorority girl after she answered nature's call in public.
Police responded to Yotopia on South Clinton Street in Iowa City at around 7pm Saturday after getting a call about a seemingly intoxicated woman who urinated on the floor of the frozen yogurt emporium.
The sauced suspect has been identified as 20-year-old Jestine Rands, a sorority leader at the University of Iowa chapter of Chi Omega.

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by The Smoking Gun, the bubbly blonde reeked of alcohol, was slurring her speech and had bloodshot, watery eyes.
The responding officers also observed that Rands was in possession of an empty flask that smelled of booze.
When questioned by police, Rands allegedly claimed that her driver's license was actually that of a friend.
The Omaha, Nebraska, native was arrested on a single count of misdemeanor public intoxication.

Just days before the public urination snafu, the 20-year-old helped organize an event called Bid Day welcoming 61 new members into the Greek organization, according to her Facebook account.
When reached by phone Thursday, a manager at Yotopia declined to comment to Daily Mail Online, saying she does not want to address the incident 'out of respect for the young girl who made a mistake.'
