'My behaviour has been appalling': Celebrity Big Brother's Austin Armacost FINALLY apologises to Chloe-Jasmine Whichello following the pair's champagne feud

They've had a difficult few nights, with countless arguments between them.

But it appears that relations between Celebrity Big Brother's Austin Armacost, 27, and Chloe-Jasmine Whichello, 24, are finally improving, after Austin apologised for his behaviour on Thursday night's episode.

After calling a house meeting, the ex-boyfriend of fashion designer Marc Jacob told Chloe: 'I’m extremely sorry about my behaviour. You are one of the strongest women I’ve ever met in my life. You’re compassionate and understanding.'

But he couldn't resist making a dig at Chloe - who's appearing on CBB alongside her X Factor fiancé, Stevi Ritchie, 34 - adding: 'It’s a pleasure to be around you… most of the time. I’m just kidding.'

Austin concluded: 'I know that my behaviour has affected the whole house and I’m sorry about that. My behaviour’s been appalling.'

The argument between the pair stemmed from the fact that Chloe missed a champagne toast for Austin's late brother because she didn't want to be around alcohol, explaining she's an 'alcoholic', and stayed in bed under Janice Dickinson's instructions.

But this did not bode well with Austin, who argued that there's been alcohol in the house every night and Chloe hasn't avoided any of that.

Earlier in the day, housemates discussed the fact that they thought Austin was becoming a bit of a bully, after insulting both Janice and Stevi, as well as Chloe-Jasmine.

Ex-porn star Jenna Jameson, 41, told James Hill, 28: 'He’s just starting to look like a bully. He picks on every little thing about Janice. Maybe he just feels like he can do whatever the hell he wants.'

Not happy: Janice added: 'Austin is a bully. He’s tried to bully me. He cannot. People that speak behind people’s backs... I won’t stand for it'

James agreed, responding: 'I’m not going to stand for it just because he’s my friend. I’ve seen him and I’ve told him, but if he’s not interested, what can I do?'

Janice later added: 'Austin is a bully. He’s tried to bully me. He cannot. People that speak behind people’s backs... I won’t stand for it.'

Former soap actress Sherrie Hewson, 64, also took to the Diary Room to discuss Austin's behaviour, but concluded that everyone is slightly tetchy following Gail Porter and Fatman Scoop's double eviction on Tuesday night.

She told Big Brother: 'I think everyone’s in a funny state today. Everyone’s getting tetchy now. People are snapping. I want to take Austin and smack him, because getting tetchy and cross doesn't help anything, but James is trying to calm him down. I can understand it.'

And Austin certainly got his comeuppance in Thursday night's task, after James punished him by not letting him talk to any of his fellow housemates.

The task involved each housemate being given a box with a gift inside, chosen by a fellow housemate, but it could be a punishment or a treat.

Farrah Abraham also got a punishment, in the form of having to be the house foot masseuse, which James made use of later in the evening.

Stevi was told he must eat cold slop (chosen for him by Sherrie) while Janice was forced to read mean tweets about herself, which Jenna chose for her.

But some of the housemates received treats in their boxes, including Natasha Hamilton, who burst into tears when she opened the box containing photos of her children at home.

The heartfelt gift was chosen for her by Janice.

Jenna was tasked with being responsible for the shopping list, Sherrie was under instructions to impersonate an American housemate (she chose Janice), while James was granted power over the house.

But it seems James' punishment to Austin - for him to go invisible - went down like a lead balloon, as the pair were seen having an almighty row on Thursday night.

Austin - who's shared a bed with James since the first night - was opening up to his on-screen BFF about how he feels he knows him him pretty well after spending time together in the house.

But James responded, with a dagger through his heart: 'I don’t know you at all. You don’t know me at all either.'

This clearly hurt Austin, who clearly considers James to be his best friend in the house.

He replied: 'First of all that was bang out of order. That was really really f*cked up.'

James explained that he's known some of his best friends since primary school, and three weeks isn't long enough to truly get to know someone.

Austin, still visibly offended, told him: 'That really hurt me when you said that. I’ve shared things with you because I’ve confided in you, now you’re sitting here saying you don’t know me. I think that’s really f*cked up.'

At this point, after Austin had raised his voice quite considerably, Sherrie walks into the lounge after being woken up by the pair's argument.

James admitted defeat, and hopped to bed, leaving Austin - who admitted he'd had two or three cocktails - on his own.

He said: 'I’m going to bed. I love ya. You’ve had a drink and you’re going round in circles.'

Not that close: James responded, with a dagger through his heart: 'I don’t know you at all. You don’t know me at all either'

Also on Thursday night's episode, the housemates were punished with no hot water until further notice after Jenna discussed nominations - forbidden in the house.

Big Brother dictated the transcript of a conversation between Jenna and Farrah, in which the former discusses wanting to nominate Janice.

The voiceover said: 'As you know it is against the rules to discuss your nominations or try and influence any one else's nominations. Last night at 12.28 AM in a conversation with Farrah, Jenna said the following.

"Next up is like nominations and like dude how do we deal with this? I can think of a couple, probably Janice. I think we know how we have to weed out."

'This is a clear breach of Big Brother's rules, because of this the hot water has been turned off in the house until further notice.'

Despite the quote being read verbatim, Farrah seems baffled by the news, insisting she doesn't remember the conversation, saying: 'Was that a real conversation because I don't remember it? Was I drunk or was I not there?'

Seemingly in disbelief, the whole house are seen laughing as they struggle to absorb the shocking news.

The housemates were also informed that they're all up for nomination this week, with the next contestant getting the boot on Friday.
