Teal for Toni! Miss You Already star Collette highlights her hourglass figure in bandage style dress as she hits the red carpet for her film's London premiere

She rose to international stardom as the terribly dressed star of much loved 1994 comedy, Muriel's Wedding.

And 11 years on, Toni Collette is looking better than ever.

On Thursday evening, the 42-year-old Australian actress walked the London red carpet of the premiere of her new movie Miss You Already, and was a knock-out in a dress that can only be described as a work of art.

The mother-of-two slipped into a teal bandage number which highlighted her hourglass figure - nipping in at her waist and flaring at her knees.

The figure-hugging dress featured gold embellishments across the bodice, capped sleeves and around the hemline of her flared skirt.

Toni chose heeled gold sandals, simple rings, and silver earrings to complete her look.

The blonde beauty, who told The Guardian last month she can get ready in only 15 minutes, chose subtle make-up, apart from a bold red lip, for the Vue West End cinema event. 

Toni took time to pose with her co-star and fellow mother-of-two Drew Barrymore on the pink carpet.

According to 40-year-old Drew, it was Toni who convinced her to join the project.

‘I had just had a baby so it really wasn’t a convenient time,' Drew said on UK breakfast show Lorraine this month.

'But when I spoke to Toni and read the script, I was like, I am going to move mountains to be able to do this.’

In the film the two play best friends who grew up together. Their friendship is put to the test as Toni's character battles breast cancer, while Drew's character tries to get pregnant. 

‘I would have done anything for this movie - I loved it so much,’ Toni told Lorraine.

The actress revealed she shaved her head five times for scenes.
